Are your programs mostly for new or experienced
sales people?
Athletes earning millions of dollars a year work with coaches and practice to improve their skills every day. Top tennis players drill their forehands and backhands. These are primary, basic, beginner skills, yet it's the nuances they work on to improve them. I will share ideas for experienced sales people that, when implemented, will add up to more sales.
Novice and less experienced sales people need some focus on fundamentals. They need to understand the big picture in sales and what to do first, second, third, etc. Without a solid foundation, they flounder, and most don't become really successful. While they are learning the fundamentals, your experienced Reps are honing their skills kicking them and you up to a higher level.
Successful sales people are not necessarily skilled sales people! One Company I worked with had a fairly highly paid sales team. They were successful because of their community involvement. I outsold the three neighboring territories, because I was also highly involved in the community and my sales skills smoked theirs.
